We all have the power to change our communities for the better. Come to the $27 million dollar cookout and let’s create positive change, together!

The Seattle community has a long legacy of advocating to get our needs met. Come out to Othello Park this Sunday July 23rd from 12-7pm and be a part of that legacy as we officially begin collecting ideas on how to spend $27 million dollars of the cities budget through our current Participatory Budgeting Process. We will be giving out $25 gift cards to the first 100 people who share their ideas on what they’d like to see funded in our communities and everyone who shares an idea will also enter a raffle to win $50 gas cards!

The event will include live Dj sets all day from Toya B and Vitamin D, a special youth step team performance, an open mic, and FREE FOOD from Ezelles’ Fried Chicken, Lil Red’s Catering , Winnie’s Cafe and Deli, and The Greedy Vegan.

Come out with your friends and family to celebrate community, share your voices on important community issues, and get nourished. We look forward to seeing you.
