Support BIPOC Solidarity Economy Fellowship Cohort with Grants & Technical Assistance
Fund a cohort of BIPOC entrepreneurs to plan and implement solidarity economy enterprises that meet local needs through the practice of democracy and self-determination, environmental sustainability, equity, and by creating new models and hope for what is possible in community-centered economies. This funding will provide grants, technical assistance, and group learning. It will build off of the New Economy Washington Fellowship led by Front and Centered &People’s Economy Lab.

Justification: Proposal is for capacity building and would identify future funding sources to support programming.
Other notes: OED invests in business technical assistance and other programs for small businesses. One-on-one consultation is provided by OED small business. It collaborates with Office of Sustainability and Environment in the green/clean economy.
