Free Classes for Parents at schools
Free classes for parents/guardians/grandparents in Seattle public elementary schools, for schools with lots of low income students, Black and Brown kids, and immigrants and refugees. financial literacy, English as a second language, wealth building, supporting kids mental health. the benefit is that this will help families better their economic opportunities, and help families learn how to support mental health. Kids are struggling and parents want resources to learn how to help them.
This proposal has been accepted because:

Other notes: There are not current free opportunities that span this range of identities/topics but could overlap with existing investments in CBOs, K12 and post secondary institutions. Estimated Cost range depends on size/scope of program.
