DADS support group and parenting classes, co-facilitated by licensed mental health therapist
As DADS provides a wide range of services to fathers connecting / reconnecting with their children, one of our important services is the provision of fathering support groups and parenting classes. We find value in licensed mental heath therapists serving as co-facilitators, to help educate these fathers on the mental health implications of their fathering experiences, or, the lack of. Equally as important, is helping these fathers to understand the impacts of trauma on their lives.
