Some already existing examples of this model - YAB - Youth Action Board- youth on this board or committee would be autonomous in their decisions, would be able to govern themselves and would have opportunities to give feedback to state agencies, legislators, representatives, etc. on their experiences in foster care, utilizing state services, homelessness, etc. with the goal of stopping trauma (from these experiences) at its source. </p><p>The goal is to change the way we treat those who have been in care by sharing personal experiences with legislators, etc. It will be compensated for the youth.</p><p>Who to consider: </p><p>-Young Adults (18-26) with experience being in foster care, homeless, or even those who utilize state/federal services and programs. </p>"},"title":{"en":"Youth Leading Youth (to Success)"}}
