Loans for housing maintenance.
Create a program to administer 0% interest loans to medium-low income folks to perform necessary repairs and energy-efficient upgrades to their homes. Contractor costs have become incredibly expensive, making it very difficult for folks on fixed incomes to keep their homes warm/dry/cool, etc. Providing 0% interest loans will allow people to pay for these repairs over a 1-2 year period. This will allow folks to stay in their homes and provide relatives an opportunity to stay with them in a safe comfortable home.
