Property + Land Development
Retrofit 2 Duwamish owned buildings + properties
- into a storage building/distribution lease building to sustain all property costs + provide income
- a building is developed into tribal owned business i.e. coffee shop (existing), juice bar, food truck.
This project would provide income to develop youth, elder, housing projects, etc. These projects would provide jobs + learning opportunities for both Duwamish + local area community members.
This would primarily serve local Seattle community members + Duwamish tribe members.
This would happen at existing land at Duwamish longhouse.
The City would assist in design and engineering requirements for City of Seattle per a development plan.
